Mrs. Debbie Irish is our school Principal. She feels so excited and blessed to be joining the St. Helen’s Catholic School family. Mrs. Irish brings over 20 years of experience in the field of education. She has served as a special and general education teacher of children ages Pre-K through college. She was also a District Resource Specialist, a Preschool Director, and an Assistant Principal. Mrs. Irish is an alumni of St. Anastasia School and John Carroll High School.
She received her Master’s in Educational Leadership from American College of Education. She attended the University of South Florida for her Bachelor’s degree. Mrs. Irish is Florida certified in Elementary Education, Middle School Education, and Special Education. She has certificates in Reading, ESOL, and Preschool Education. In addition, she is a parishioner, lector, and Eucharistic Minister at St. Helen’s Church. Mrs. Irish resides in Fort Pierce with her husband. She has three sons, a daughter-in-law, and her first grandbaby. Her youngest son, Michael, will be attending St. Helen’s.
