Mrs. Carrie Gammell has 18 teaching experience, ranging from teaching fifth grade through 12 ^th grade. Her specialty is Language Arts.  In addition to teaching, Mrs. Gammell has served as a middle school coordinator, assisting in the planning and implementation of cross-curricular instruction, and also as a mentor to new faculty members. Mrs. Gammell has also worked with other teachers on implementing writing across the curriculum and assisted a diocese with their Diocesan Curriculum Mapping. Mrs. Gammell earned her Bachelors Degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University and her Masters Degree in Curriculum, Assessment, and Evaluation from Jones International University. She holds a Florida Certificate in English, Elementary Education, Reading, and Varying Exceptionalities.  Mrs. Gammell is married with a six-year-old daughter who attends SHCS, twin four-year-old sons, and is proud to be a St. Helen alumnus.
