Mrs. Tracey Dribben brings 20 years of experience teaching mathematics to St. Helen Catholic School. She has taught mathematics for 10 years in high school and 10 years in middle school. She has taught every level of math from 6
th-Grade Math to Finite Math with Calculus. Originally from Greenville, Alabama, she holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Troy State University and an M.Ed. in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of South Alabama.
Galileo said that, “Mathematics is the language in which God has written the universe.” Mrs. Dribben considers it a privilege to teach her students this beautiful language. She spends time emphasizing the importance of the mathematical process to help her students build a firm foundation and become beautiful mathematicians. She teaches her students that math may not always be easy, but it is “doable.” She also challenges her students, while showing them how math works in the world God created, and how it can be used in the world where they live.
Mrs. Dribben has lived in Vero for about 18-months, moving to the area from Tallahassee. She just celebrated her 20
th wedding anniversary with her husband, Anthony. They have two daughters, Julia, a college freshman, and Anna Grace, a high school sophomore.
Mrs. Dribben is so excited to be part of the St. Helen family and is looking forward to a wonderful year.
